วันพฤหัสบดีที่ ๑๕ ธันวาคม พุทธศักราช ๒๕๖๕ เวลา ๑๑.๐๐ น. นายพนมบุตร จันทรโชติ อธิบดีกรมศิลปากร ร่วมพิธีลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจระหว่างพิพิธภัณฑ์ด้านโบราณคดีแทร์เมซ สาธารณรัฐอุซเบกิสถาน กับสำนักพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ กรมศิลปากร โดยมีนายฟาคริติน ซุลตานอฟ กงสุลใหญ่ สถานกงสุลใหญ่สาธารณรัฐอุซเบกิสถาน ประจำประเทศไทย พร้อมด้วยคณะเข้าพบและร่วมประชุมหารือความร่วมมือกับกรมศิลปากร เกี่ยวกับการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์กับผู้เชี่ยวชาญกรมศิลปากร ด้านแหล่งโบราณคดี โบราณวัตถุที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพุทธศาสนาของไทย โดยมี นายสถาพร เที่ยงธรรม รองอธิบดีกรมศิลปากร นางสาวนิตยา กนกมงคล ผู้อำนวยการสำนักพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่กรมศิลปากรที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วมในพิธีลงนามในครั้งนี้ ณ ห้องประชุม ๑ ชั้น ๘ อาคารกรมศิลปากร เทเวศร์

On 15 December 2022, Mr. Phnombootra Chandrajoti, Director General of the Fine Arts Department (FAD) and Mr. Umid Khudoyberdiyev, Director of the Termez Archaeological Museum (attending online) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the FAD and the Termez Archaeological Museum of Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperative Academic and Cultural Exchanges. The ceremony was witnessed by His Excellency Mr. Fakhriddin Sultanov, Consul General of Republic of Uzbekistan to Thailand, Mr. Temur Mirazaev, Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan (attending online), Mr. Sathaporn Thiangtham, Deputy Director General of the FAD and officials from relevant divisions of the Consulate General and the FAD. The ceremony is taken place at the 8th Floor meeting room of the FAD Building.
The objective of the MOU is to cooperate in academic and cultural exchanges between the two countries in the field of museology, tourism, archaeology, restoration, scientific-practical meeting and conference.
