กรมศิลปากร โดย พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ หอศิลป ร่วมกับ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสหรัฐเม็กซิโกประจำประเทศไทย ขอเชิญชมนิทรรศการ Buscando México ค้นพบเม็กซิโก โดย ดิเอโก โรดาร์เต (Diego Rodarte) ศิลปินชาวเม็กซิกัน ระหว่างวันที่ 4 – 26 พฤศจิกายน 2566 ณ อาคาร 6 พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ    หอศิลป ถนนเจ้าฟ้า กรุงเทพฯ 

             นิทรรศการ Buscando México จัดแสดงผลงานของ ดิเอโก โรดาร์เต ได้แก่ ภาพเขียนสีน้ำมันบนผ้าใบขนาดเล็กจำนวน 32 ภาพ ที่แสดงถึงสถานที่และสัญลักษณ์ของทั้ง 32 รัฐและภูมิภาคต่างๆ ในประเทศเม็กซิโก รวมถึงภาพเขียนสีน้ำมันบนผ้าใบขนาดใหญ่ จำนวน 3 ภาพ และผลงานศิลปะอื่นๆ อีกจำนวน 6 ชิ้น ซึ่งซานติอาโก เอสปิโนซา เด โลส โมนเตโรส (Santiago Espinosa de los Monteros) นักวิจารณ์ชื่อดังชาวเม็กซิโก ได้กล่าวถึงนิทรรศการไว้ว่า “หัวใจสำคัญของนิทรรศการ Buscando México นี้คือ การพิสูจน์ให้เห็นถึงภาพทิวทัศน์อันงดงามจากหลากหลายสถานที่สำคัญต่าง ๆ ในประเทศเม็กซิโก ได้แก่ ชายหาด ภูเขา แหล่งโบราณคดี ตลอดจนจัตุรัสประจำเมืองใหญ่ต่างๆ Buscando México คือ มิติภายในของประเทศเม็กซิโกที่ถูกมองผ่านมุมมองภายนอกของประเทศ ภูมิศาสตร์ และสิ่งที่อาศัยอยู่ในขอบเขตอันผิวเผินของผืนแผ่นดินของประเทศเม็กซิโก

             ดิเอโก โรดาร์เต สั่งสมประสบการณ์ยาวนานกว่า 20 ปี ได้นำเสนอนิทรรศการเดี่ยว 14 นิทรรศการทั้งภายในประเทศเม็กซิโก และนอกประเทศ เช่น สหรัฐอเมริกา ฝรั่งเศส โปแลนด์ และเวียดนาม นอกจากนี้ยังจัดนิทรรศการร่วมอีก 14 นิทรรศการ ผลงานของเขาได้ถูกนำเสนอในนิทรรศการระดับสากลต่างๆ เช่น Zona Maco Art Week (กรุงเม็กซิโกซิตี, 2021) และ Art Miami International Fair (2021)

             ผู้สนใจสามารถเข้าชมนิทรรศการ Buscando México ค้นพบเม็กซิโก ได้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 4 – 26 พฤศจิกายน 2566 วันพุธ – วันอาทิตย์ เวลา 9.00 – 16.00 น. (ปิดวันจันทร์ – วันอังคาร) ณ อาคาร 6 พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ หอศิลป ค่าเข้าชม ชาวไทย 30 บาท ชาวต่างชาติ 200 บาท

The Embassy of Mexico in the Kingdom of Thailand and the National Gallery of Thailand have the honour to present the exhibition Buscando México by the Mexican artist Diego Rodarte: 32 small oil-in-canvas paintings portraying symbolic and imaginary places in each of the 32 states or regions of Mexico and 3 large oil-on-canvas paintings and objects.

The renowed Mexican critic Santiago Espinosa de los Monteros has written: “the heart of the Buscando México exhibitions to verify the images of the idyllic landscapes that are offered to us in the most important places in Mexico: beaches, mountains, archaeological remains, squares of the big cities. BuscandoMéxico is an inside look at the external dimension of the country, its geography and what inhabits the superficial limits of skin of Mexican territory”.

Diego Rodarte is an artist with more than 20 years of experience. He has presented 14 individual exhibitions in Mexico, United States, France, Poland and Vietnam, and has participated in 14 collective exhibitions. His work has been exhibited at international fairs such as the Zona Maco Art Week (Mexico City, 2021) and the prestigious Art Miami International Fair (2021).
