     รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติม: พระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 5) ทรงโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้มีการประกวดแต่งโคลงประกอบพระราชพงศาวดาร และเขียนภาพจิตรกรรมเล่าเรื่องประวัติศาสตร์ประกอบโคลง ในงานพระเมรุสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอฯ พุทธศักราช 2430 งานจิตรกรรมชิ้นนี้ เป็นหนึ่งในผลงานชิ้นเด่นของภาพชุดโคลงพงศาวดาร ซึ่งถ่ายทอดเหตุการณ์ทางประวัติศาสตร์ ตอน เพลิงไหม้พระที่นั่งอมรินทราภิเษกมหาปราสาท ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง เนื่องจากเหตุฟ้าผ่า ในรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช (รัชกาลที่ 1) เมื่อพุทธศักราช 2332

     Detail: His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) ordered to ran a painting competition as illustrations for the royal Thai chronicle, in a memorable event upon the royal cremation ceremony for His Majesty’s child in 1887. One of these paintings which considered a remarkable piece, depicted a historical event of a fire incident at Amarindara Bishek Throne Hall in The Royal Grand Palace complex as an effect of a lightning strike, occurred in 1789 in the reign of Somdej Phra Puttha Yodfah (King Rama I).
