This is a composition of Phraya Boranrajathanin on opinions and questions related to history and archaeology of Ayutthaya, originally written to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn in 1907. The contents of the writing include the history of Ayutthaya, the town plan and landscape, rivers and canals outside the city, local administration, population census, and the excavation of the old palace. Tamnan Krung Kao is the archetype of Ayutthaya historical sites survey reports and is subsequently reprinted in the Collection of Historical Archives, volume 63.
