On Friday, February 28, 1958 CE, the king removed his Ancient and Auspicious Order of the Nine Gems decoration he was wearing and offered it to Phra Buddha Chinaraj, while Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, offered her intricately embroidered shoulder-cloth.
